Bold, bottle-fermented ales from Quebec

Unibroue is a pioneering Canadian craft brewery based in Chambly, Quebec, known for its strong, complex ales brewed in the traditional Belgian style. Founded in 1991, it was one of the first North American breweries to embrace bottle conditioning and yeast-driven flavour profiles. From the iconic La Fin du Monde to the dark and spicy Trois Pistoles, Unibroue’s beers offer depth, intensity, and a distinctive Quebecois soul.

Each bottle is brewed with care, re-fermented for natural carbonation, and built to evolve — both in the glass and in the cellar.

An avant-garde microbrewery

Inspired by the stories and legends of Quebec. Since 1992, Unibroue brews with passion, joie de vivre and daring. Thanks to the ambition of a dedicated team, the first brew of Blanche de Chambly has now become a company of a hundred artisans who brew distinctive premium beers. We’re pioneers of craft beer in Quebec, growing just as fast as the new generation of consumers and brewers we’ve inspired.

Our dream of democratizing microbrew beer materialized quickly, allowing us to develop products of remarkable quality and foster innovation since our inception.

Our story started with a dream – visionary André Dion''s dream. His mission is to conquer the hearts, and above all the palates, of Quebecers. He seeks to market top notch gourmet beers that stand out as much for their unique taste as for their brewing method. Belgian-inspired beers refermented in the bottle: unheard of in their country of origin!

He secretly even manages to convince himself that his future brewery will be the heart of a brewing revolution that will change our perception of beer forever. And now his little secret has quickly become legendendary.

“Unibroue. Strong ales with soul.”

Unibroue’s beers are made to be sipped, explored, and savoured. They defy standard lager expectations and reward those who seek something richer. With high ABVs, complex yeast profiles, and elegant presentation, Unibroue remains one of the few North American breweries to master Belgian-style brewing at scale.

From Quebec, with care — and not for the faint of palate.
